Installation and Upgrade

CYAN Secure Web for Windows requires a Windows 2003 Server or later as the underlying operating system. For testing purposes you may install CYAN Secure Web on Windows XP, but this is not recommended for production systems.

To start the installation run setup program downloaded previously. Follow the steps provided by the installation wizard. The setup program will take care of upgrades as well.

In order to operate the CYAN Reporting System, an SQL database is required. The CYAN Reporting System supports the following SQL databases:

• PostgreSQL 8.0 or higher
• MySQL 5.1 or higher
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or higher (including Express Edition)
