Preparation

Secure Web for Windows requires a Windows 2003 Server or Windows XP as the underlying operating system. We strongly recommended to have installed the latest service packs from Microsoft for your host.

In order to operate the Cyan Reporting System, a SQL database system is required. The CYAN Reporting System supports following SQL databases:

Postgresql 8.0 or higher
Mysql 5.1 or higher
Microsoft SQL Server

Installation

To install on Windows, please read our guide Installing on Windows first, then download the setup from the link provided above and execute this setup program.

Upgrading

In the case you have been using the beta version of Secure Web for Windows it is strongly recommended to uninstall this version completely and reinstall the latest release package. Upgrades for setups prior to the release version 1.7.8 are not supported.
