| Secure Authentication Daemon for Windows |
|
The Secure Authentication Daemon is used by Secure Web in order to provide authentication in the Windows environment. It enables Secure Web to support transparent authentication (NTLM authentication). Download
Preparation
Secure Authentication Daemon for Windows requires a Windows 2003 Server as the underlying operating system. It can be installed on a primary or backup domain controller as well as on any member server in the Windows network. We strongly recommended to have installed the latest service packs from Microsoft for your host.
Installation
In order to install Secure Authentication Daemon for Windows download the installer package linked above and run the setup program.
Upgrade from version 1.4.6 or previous
The setup packages prior to version 1.7.8 do NOT support upgrades. In order to upgrade from the old version must be uninstalled and then the new version can be installed. Please remember the settings of the current installation, as they will be lost after the upgrade (host and port of the configuration server and the username and password for the component authentication).
