Installation SECURE WEB proxy server is available in several variants:
1. Setup packages made available via software repositories
|
|
|
We
maintain software repositories that make installing an easy task. All
that is necessary is that you set up the link to the repository on your
system. Then you can use the package management tool for installing and
updating the software.

Debian
|
Our Debian repository is available on deb.cyan-networks.com. This repository applies to all Debian, Ubuntu and Kubuntu users.

2. VMware image
|
|
|
SECURE
WEB is available as a virtual machine image for VMware. This image can
be run on all VMware products like VMware Server, VMware ESX Server or
using VMware Player. VMware Player is available for free from
www.vmware.com and is the easiest way to evaluate SECURE WEB using a

3.Generic installer package for Linux

The generic setup package is a compressed archive (.tar.gz) that will install on all Linux distributions. Refer to this page

Windows Authentication
With NTLM you can access
the Internet via SECURE WEB without entering your user name and
password in Microsoft Internet Explorer. SECURE WEB requires the CYAN Secure Authentication Daemon installed on a windows machine that is member of the domain. See the SECURE Auth for Windows page for details.
